Alice’s first year (in video)

So I’m super excited to share this with you guys. I got the idea from a random youtube video of a baby I didn’t even know. As this child took his first steps and the tears coursed down my face (yep–I’m a mama), I realized this was something I wanted to do for our family too.

After a little fiddling with iMovie, voilà!

It’s been an amazing year watching this little one grow, and I hope you guys enjoy watching it all happen over the course of 4 minutes and 11 seconds.

It made my husband cry, so I consider it a smashing success.

    Happy birthday sweet Alice!
Preciosa niña, precioso video, buena elección musical. Eres una artista Jenna.
En medio de un mundo loco como el nuestro, es una delicia contemplar momentos agradables de una familia feliz.

So adorable Jenna. How fun to see a year in the life of little Alice. She’s such a joyful little girl and you can feel the love between you all.

That was such a touching, sweet video, I got a little misty-eyed! I’m not a mother yet although I am married, and so to be honest I read your blog with such wonder and curiosity as to what the next steps in life could be like for my husband and me. You have such a beautiful and radiant family! Thank you for sharing something so dear to your heart. (: Happy (1 day late) birthday, Alice! I hope your day together was blessed.

This is so precious, Jenna! It made me teary eyed too. I LOL’ed at several parts- like when she sneezed when she was tiny tiny and fell over…when you peeked out around the corner and she giggled…when she “kicked” the ball. So so sweet. I think I must do something like this too!

Jenna, what a totally blessed 4 minutes and 11 seconds that was… so much love. Thank you for this glimpse into Miss Alice’s first year and Happy Birthday, sweet lil’ bebe girl! My children’s early years are enshrined in photo albums, but they’re still as vivid and poignant (to me) as videos. The best part was seeing a lil’ human being emerging who will have a positive, Godly impact on the world, thanks to you two.
