Two great games from the archives

I’ll be back next week . . . but in the meantime, I wanted to point your attention in the direction of two great group games.

1) I posted about the fabulous game of Dominion exactly one year ago, when we had arrived home from our Family Vacay 2010.

When we played it with Steve and Steph last Christmas, I think Steve won every single time. Ugh. He kept using that dang “Garden” card, the imp. I have plans to take him down during Family Vacay 2012–that gives me a year to buff up my skills.

2) Chinese Telegraph was our big game at New Years back in January, and if you haven’t played it, you must find an occasion!

It’s rollicking.

And I have a third recommendation . . . but it’s a freebie.

Because I don’t know how many of you have access to a big mud-filled pen in which to pig wrestle. But if you can locate one, this ‘game’ is wildly . . . well, wildly . . . hmmmm . . . you know, “fun” isn’t exactly the word that comes to mind.

Though you may have fun reading the blog post that I wrote about it. Anyway.

Have a great weekend everyone!

Hi, Jenna (away from home) — games are so much fun! I loved the photos on your Chinese Telegraph post — found myself laughing along with everyone and I wasn’t even there! LOL!

Nice! Thanks for the recommendation. Another good one is “Set”–it’s all about seeing patterns quickly and snatching up sets of cards. I always feel like my brain has received a thorough workout when I’ve played a couple rounds.
